Mental Health Care Plan
Psychological Wisdom provides therapy and counselling with your GP-approved Medicare Mental Health Care Plan.
This plan allows for short-term interventions, typically spanning 6 to 10 sessions. During these sessions, we provide a solution-focused brief therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
Please note this is distinct from psychological therapy, providing an intervention response to a specific issue, with targeted support within the framework of your approved plan.
Psychological Assessments
Psychological Wisdom provides a mental health assessment service; however, this is not covered by Medicare rebates.
This is a client-funded option with full fees applicable. A mental health assessment typically spans three interviews and accompanies a comprehensive diagnosis report. The assessment cost is calculated based on 11 hours.
